This cabinet stands
in the entryway of a large home for
visitors to use to store purses, etc,
during their stay. It was designed
based upon the Arts and Crafts styling
made famous by Geo. Stickly.
It was constructed
entirely of Quarter-sawn White Oak and
using flat black metal hardware. The
sides of the cabinet are flared outwards
slightly at the bottom to give the
piece a feeling of strength and
permanence. The piece has an
ammonia-fumed finish.
The cabinet now resides in Hawaii.
